Pick Up Shot animations start at $150 for a quick simple clip delivered raw. Custom Pack starts at $150 per animation in 26-30 anim sets, scaling up to $200 per animation for smaller 10-15 anim packs. Studio Session day rates start at $5,000 with actor and any specialty equipment quoted separately. Final pricing depends on quantity, complexity, length, and formats — submit the form for an estimate.

Pick Up Shot is raw mocap delivered as captured — no cleanup or finger animation in the base price. You ride along on one of our regularly scheduled shoot days, so you can't pick the date and the actor is our choice. Custom Pack includes full library-style polish: manual cleanup, finger animation, an animation list document, and a scoping call. It's the right tier when you want production-ready output without doing your own polish work.

FBX is included in every tier. Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, iClone, and BIP are available as additional format exports — Custom Pack includes one of those plus FBX in the base; Pick Up Shot and Studio Session include one format of choice with additional formats priced per animation.

Pick Up Shot turnaround depends on when our next shoot day lands — could be a few weeks. Custom Pack typically takes 2-3 weeks after deposit. Studio Sessions are scheduled based on availability with delivery 1-2 weeks after capture. Rush options are available at +30-50%.

One minor revision per animation is included in every tier — that's a timing nudge, foot-plant fix, or smoothing pass on a specific section, up to 15 minutes of work. Additional rounds or larger changes are billed at our standard $75 per hour with a one-hour minimum.

If your custom animation work would fit our marketplace catalog, we'll discount your project — up to 50% — in exchange for the right to also distribute it. You keep full use of the animations for your project; we package and resell them on the marketplace. Toggle the option on the form and our system evaluates your submission against our catalog and what our community is asking for. You'll see the recommended discount in your quote.

You own 100% of the intellectual property for any custom animations we create for your project. We do not resell or redistribute custom work unless you opt into our IP-share program (which gives you a discount in exchange for a non-exclusive license back to MCO).

Yes. We're happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before discussing your project details. Just let us know in your inquiry.

No. We capture onto our standard Modus Man skeleton — the same one used for every other animation in our catalog. You can retarget to your own rig in your own pipeline. If you'd prefer we deliver directly on your custom rig, that's available as an add-on at our standard hourly rate.

Base prices are per animation: $200 for one, $175 each for 2-3, and $150 each for 4-5 animations. Length adjusts the price (under 3 seconds is the baseline; longer gets multiplied), as does complexity (a wave is simple; a sword duel is complex). Add-ons like cleanup, finger animation, or additional formats are priced separately so you only pay for the polish you actually want.

One animation, on the Pick Up Shot tier. There's no maximum — we've handled projects from single animations to full catalog packs.

Credit card, PayPal, or wire transfer. Pick Up Shot orders under $500 are paid 100% upfront. Larger orders are 50% deposit to begin and 50% on delivery acceptance.

Yes for Custom Pack and Studio Session — talent fee is passed through at cost plus 15%. Pick Up Shot uses our default shared-shoot performer; specialty talent is not available at that tier.

Yes. Standard props in our studio inventory are included. Custom-fabricated or specialty-purchased props are billed at cost plus 20% handling. Larger equipment needs (motion rigs, treadmills, etc.) are quoted separately during scoping.

Pick Up Shot orders ride on our regularly scheduled internal shoot days, which means we batch multiple customers onto the same session. Your work goes into the queue when your order is paid; the actual shoot date depends on demand and our internal production schedule. Could be a couple of weeks; could be a couple of months.
